The One Pillar Pagoda, which is also called Lien Hoa Dai meaning Lotus Flower Stalk, is what left of a complex of pagoda named Dien Huu Pagoda (Pagoda of Long-Lasting Good Luck). The construction of the Dien Huu Pagoda was in 1049 under the reign of King Ly Thai Tong and finished in 1105 under the reign of King Ly Nhan Tong.

The Tha Village is in Phuong Do Commune, Ha Giang City. The village includes a cluster of houses on stilts on a flat terrain. In front of the village is idyllic rice fields and in the rear of the village there are forested mountains.
Nam O Fish Sauce Making Village is located on the estuary of the Cu De River, right at the base of the Hai Van Pass in Da Nang City. The village fish sauce making business started in the early 20th century.
Ba Kieu Temple also known as Huyen Tran Tu is located on the eastern corner of the Hoan Kiem Lake, across the street. The temple was built and expanded in the period of 1619-1628 under the Le Dynasty. Ba Kieu Temple faces west, and there is a huge banyan tree with gigantic roots covering a corner of the temple complex.
