Tourist attractions in Ca Mau

1/ Cape Ca Mau and Cape Ca Mau National Park

Cape Ca Mau in Ngoc Hien District is a southern-most point of Vietnam’s inland. At the tip of the land we can watch both run rise and sunset. The cape has been moving forward by 50-80m into the sea to the west (Rach Gia Gulf, East Vietnam Sea) each year.

While Ca Mau Province is located to the bottom-south of Vietnam, the national park of Cape Ca Mau is located right at the bottom of Ca Mau Province. The national park is listed to the UNESCO Global Biosphere Reserves and World Ramsar Sites.

The highest point of the island is 50m above sea level. Tourist facilities on the islands have been under construction recently. For now the island serves as a shelter for fishing boats mostly.
