Quang Tri is where the 17th parallel is located. This was the demarcation line between the North and the South Vietnam during the Vietnam (American) War. The province by far attracts travelers for its recent history but most visitors do not know that Quang Tri possesses amazing natural landscapes.
The waterfall is 100m high with series of connected waterfalls in a mostly untouched forest of the Truong Son Mountain Range to the west of the province. The main part of the waterfall is composed of three smaller waterfalls hence the name Ba Voi (Three Taps, Three Faucets).
The Ba Voi Waterfall is part of the Voi Mep Mountain which is 1,707m above sea level. This is the highest mountain in Quang Tri Province.
How To Get There
The Ba Voi Waterfall is in Huong Hiep Commune, Dakrong District, Quang Tri Province. To get there we can travel by motorbike for one hour from Dong Ha City to Da Ngoi Village (Huong Hiep, Dak Rong, Quang Tri) from where we hike for two hours on the bed of a dry stream to the waterfall.
