The Ba Vi National Park is located by the Da River on the Ba Vi Mountain which is composed of three peaks: Vua Peak (King Peak, 1296m), Tan Vien Peak (1227m), Ngoc Hoa (1331m). The national park was established in 1991.
The Ba Vi National Park has a total area of 9,702 hectares stretching in the territory of the former Ha Tay Province (Hanoi now) and Hoa Binh Province. The buffer zone of the national park is 35,000 hectares.

How to get there
The Ba Vi National Park is 60km northwest of Hanoi. From Hanoi, you follow Route 32 to Son Tay Roundabout (Son Tay City) then turn left into the provincial route 87A until you see the sign on the left showing the smaller road to the national park.
