The Ba Den Mountain or Black Lady Mountain (Nui Ba Den) is 986m high and is a very popular tourist attraction for Vietnamese tourists.
There are two cable systems that you could get to the top of the mountain easily. Alternatively you can take a staircase with steps which requires more efforts and time. The award for getting to the summit is great views of the surroundings, cool temperatures and photogenic spots.
For travelers who love adventures you can go exploring the Kim Quang Cave which is to the south of the mountain. To get to this cave you have to follow the bed of a 5m-deep ravine for 500m.
Those who love hiking can have two choices: either you take a steep trail behind the Chua Ba Pagoda or take another trail following the electricity poles. The former has quite some dangers: venomous snakes, rock slides, rock fall… It may take up to 3-4 hours to trek to the top for an averaged fit person.
