The Ma Thien Lanh Valley is formed by three mountains: Ba Den Mountain (Black Lady), Heo (Pig) Mountain and Phung (Phoenix) Mountain. The valley is in Thanh Tan Commune, Tay Ninh City.

The Ma Thien Lanh Valley possesses patches of forest, lakes, streams, grassland and pleasant temperatures. The valley is a popular site for young tourists from Ho Chi Minh City at weekends.
Things to do
1/ Hiking
There are several trails in the valley for leisurely walk or not so difficult hike. These easy trips can take 1-2 hours.
2/ Camping
There are grasslands by the lake or at the mountain base that are good for camping in day time. It is not recommended to stay overnight in the valley.
3/ Hard Trekking: Climbing the Ba Den Mountain from the Ma Thien Lanh Valley
The hardest trekking trip is to scale the Ba Den Mountain from the Ma Thien Lanh Valley. The route involves crossing several huge rock boulders and a path on a huge block of rock which is 700m long!
It is 20-30 degree gradients on the 700m-rocky path and it is extremely slippery, even on a dry day. The trip takes 6-8 hours to complete. The trekking distance is 10km uphill and 7km downhill.
How to get there
The Ma Thien Lanh Valley is 11km northeast of Tay Ninh City center via Tran Phu Street. The valley is 100km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City via Route22 and provincial route 784.
