Travel Guide to Ta Giang Phinh Village, Sapa
Ta Giang Phinh is not visited much by tourists to Sapa. Some adventure travelers to Y Ty and the Northwest of Vietnam may visit the village by chance only. But once you are here, especially at the right time, you can have the whole captivating landscape for yourself.
At Ta Giang Phin, the valley offers broad views of rice terraces which can take you the whole day to trek around. The valley is sparsely populated, so be prepared with drinking water and food if you plan to explore it thoroughly to get the best photos.
The best time to visit Ta Giang Phinh is in late August and early September you can get the whole world of golden rice terraces into your photos. If you plan to trek further into the valley it is recommended to have a local tour guide. It may be fine in the open valley and you could get back easily but the further you go, the views are blocked and getting back may be not that easy.
From Sapa you can visit the O Quy Ho Pass, the Silver Waterfall and Ta Giang Phinh in half a day. Alternatively you can day-trip to Y Ty and travel back to Sapa. It could be a long day but it is worth it!
