The Ky Quan San Mountain also known as Bach Moc Luong Tu Mountain straddles Bat Xat District of Lao Cai Province and Phong Tho District of Lai Chau Province. The mountain is 3,046m above sea level and is the second highest mountain peak in Vietnam.
Travel Guide to Mount Ky Quan San (Bach Moc Luong Tu) in Lao Cai & Lai Chau
Since the Fansipan Mountain has had a cable system to the top, the mountain no longer offers the untouched and wild feel as it once did. The Ky Quan San is the perfect replacement for fans of mountain climbing and mountain trekking.
The Ky Quan San may be a little lower than the Fansipan. But getting to the top of this mountain is far more challenging and this makes it more of a charm to most adventure travellers. We the adventure travel community no longer feels nostalgic regarding the construction works on the Fansipan.
