The 4th typhoon to hit Vietnam in 2018 - Bebinca is expected to come into the Gulf of Tonkin in the morning of 16August2018 and to hit the coast of North Vietnam from Quang Ninh to Nam Dinh in the early morning of 17August2018. Heavy rains are expected in the North and the north of the Central Region of Vietnam from the night of 16August2018.

Boats cruises halted on Halong Bay 1-August-2019
Halong Bay Authority has stopped granting permits to boats and overnight cruise junks to make tours on the bay from 10 A.M on 1-August-2019 due to the expected strike of the Wipha Typoon (No.3 Typhoon in the East Sea of Vietnam in 2019).
