Ha Giang Province has a tropical monsoon climate: summer from May through July, autumn from late August through October, winter from November through February, spring from February through April.
Bac Kan Province has a tropical monsoon climate: summer from April through July, autumn from late August through October, winter from November through February, spring from late February through March. Bac Kan also bears certain features of continental climate on high altitudes.
