The new tropical storm which formed in the northeast of the Luzon Island on 30-August-2019 is moving westward and is expected to strenghten to be another typhoon in the East Sea of Vietnam soon. Rains are expected in most of Vietnam today. It is strong wind and rough sea mostly from the Central Coast into the Rach Gia Gulf. Hanoi has a cloudy day with some light showers, some torrential rains, very pleasant temperatures.
1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds, rains, 23-36oC mostly, 23-28oC in Ha Giang. Dong Van Plateau has some sun, clouds and rains, 18-22oC.
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have mostly clouds and rains, 24-28oC. Sapa has clouds and rains, 16-18oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds, rains, 19-21oC. Mai Chau has clouds and rains, 23-28oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: clouds and rains, 22-28oC mostly, 24-30oC in Lai Chau. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds, 18-21oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds and rains, 25-28oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 24-28oC in the south of Red River Delta, 24-29oC in Hanoi.

3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
- Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: clouds and rains, 25-33oC.
- Da Nang, Hoi An: a bit of sun, mostly clouds, isolated rains 26-33oC;
- Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): clouds, rains, 26-33oC mostly.
- Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): some sun, clouds, scattered rains, 25-32oC mostly, 25-33oC in Ninh Thuan.
4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) clouds, scattered rains, pleasant temperatures, 22-28oC in Kon Tum, 21-25oC in Pleiku, 22-30oC in Dak Lak. Da Lat has clouds, isolated rains, 17-23oC.
