The typhoon is now brushing through the souht of China but its influence may cause heavy rain in the North of Vietnam. It is clouds, rain and pleasant temperatures in most of Vietnam today. Hanoi has a day with clouds, t-storms, nice temperatures.
A landslide at Ban Ho caused by torrential rain in Sapa destroys a house killing one person. A flash flood at Ngu Chi Son Commune in Sapa sweeps a way a person who is still missing. A flash flood at Van Ban Lao Cai sweeps a way fish ponds, a person is still missing. Heavy rain destroys several houses in A Mu Sung, Bat Xat District, Lao Cai.
Several streets in Yen Bai are 1m under water due to heavy rain.
1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds, rain, 23-30/31/31/31/oC. Dong Van Plateau has little sun, clous, rain, 17-24oC.
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have clouds, isolated rain, 24-28/29/22-29/22-29oC. Sapa has clouds, rain, 16-21oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds, rain, 17-22oC. Mai Chau has clouds, rain, 23-28oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien (Dien Bien Phu), Lai Chau: clouds, rain, 21-26/26/23-29oC. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds, rain, 19-22oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): little sun, clouds, t-storms, 25/24-29oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 25-30/31oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) clouds, t-storms, 25-31/33/32oC.
3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
- Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: some sun, clouds, isolated t-storms, 26-33/25-35/34oC.
- Da Nang, Hoi An: clouds, isolated t-storms, 25-34oC;
- Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): little sun, clouds, isolated t-storms, 25/24/25-33/26-34oC.
