Heat strike in most of the North of Vietnam (except for the extreme Northwest), in the Central Coast from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan. The southwesterly monsoon is weakening and it rains less in the Central Highlands and South of Vietnam. Still, the sea is rough from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau and to Kien Giang (Rach Gia Gulf). Hanoi has a very hot day as if it were not autumn now.

Evening rains and torrential rains in Ha Giang (Quan Ba, Yen Minh), Bac Kan (Ngan Son).
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have sun, 27-37oC mostly, 28-38oC in Lao Cai. Sapa has sun, clouds, 18-25oC. Mu Cang Chai has sun, clouds, isolated thunderstorms, 22-27oC. Mai Chau has sun, clouds, 27-36oC.
