First 10 Days of November 2022
North Vietnam experienced mostly breezy, chilly and sunny days.
Central Coast of Vietnam had mostly rain.
South of Vietnam had mostly rain.
On 10-November-2022 a new spell of cool Northeasterly Wind blew in northern Vietnam making overcast skies. The temperatures in the North turned lower though they were pleasant mostly still.
Second 10 Days of November 2022
In mid November there was a new weak spell of Northeasterly Wind which caused some light rain in northern Vietnam and heavy rain in the northern mountains (Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Lao Cai). The skies turned cloudy and overcast mostly. The temperatures were mostly 22-29oC in the lowlands and 2-3oC lower in the mountains.
It was heavy rain in the Mid of the Central Coast, South of the Central Coast and part of the Central Highlands, all of Southern Vietnam.
Last 10 Days of November 2022
There were successive weak spells of Northeasterly Wind. In northern Vietnam, the wind caused slightly lower temperatures and lovely sunny weather for the first half. The strengthened spells of Northeasterly Wind in the second half of this period caused rain in northern Vietnam.
In the North of the Central Coast, the spells of Northeasterly Wind on 23-25 of November caused heavy rain of 95-227mm (Cua Hoi, Quan Hanh, Cuong Gian).
In the Central Coast of Vietnam and the Central Highlands of Vietnam the Northeasterly Wind cause heavy rain from 118mm to 288mm in Bach Ma (Thua Thien Hue), Phuoc Nang (Quang Nam), Ba To (Quang Ngai), Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa), Loi Hai (Ninh Thuan), Eo M’Doal (Dak Lak).
Quy Nhon City had several areas flooded due to 100-250mm rain on the first of the last ten days of November.
The South of Vietnam had rain and overcast skies. Ho Chi Minh City turned chilly in the morning and evening with temperatures of 22-24oC.
There was heavy rain in the far northern mountains, from Da Nang to Binh Thuan in the last few days of November 2022.
A strong spell of the Northeasterly Wind started arriving in northern Vietnam on the last day of November bringing the whole region into the winter putting and end of an unusually long autumn.
At the end of November 2022, the temperatures in northern Vietnam were 15-29oC in the lowlands and 3-5oC lower in the mountains. The temperatures were 14-22oC in the North of the Central Coast of Vietnam. There was rain in several places in the North and North of the Central Coast of Vietnam.
