Thanh Hoa Province is in the North of the Central Coast of Vietnam. The province has high mountain ranges and forests to the west and flat coastline to the east.
Thanh Hoa used to be popular for the Vietnamese tourists only but the province started to attract lots of foreign travelers since the early 2000s. With lots of development in the tourist infrastructures, the province is getting more of a choice for the domestic and foreign visitors.

1/ Sam Son Beach
The beach was popular among the Vietnamese tourists earlier now getting to be more known to foreign travelers. The sandy beaches are good enough and there have been a lots of new luxury hotels and beach resorts recently. Travelers who demand quality luxury travel service won't be disappointed having a beach break at Sam Son.
2/ Hai Tien Beach, Hai Hoa Beach
This beaches are less known and popular mostly among the Vietnamese tourists, especially in the nearby provinces.
3/ Ho Family Citadel
The 14th-century stone citadel was where the Ho Family planned a war against a Chinese invasion. This is a great place to learn a piece of the Vietnamese history. Paradissa, a Vietnamese tour operator who organizes specialist historical and battlefield tours in Vietnam, does have interesting trips to Ho Family Citadel.
4/ Pu Luong Nature Reserve
The nature reserve has been extremely popular to nature-lovers and trekking fans, mostly from overseas. There are patches of forest and Thai communities to visit. If it is rice season and if you come at the right time, you will see beautiful dazzling golden terraces at Pu Luong.
5/ Ben En National Park
The national park includes a system of flora and fauna amid mountains, lake and forests. Ben En is good to visit for a couple of days. If you love to learn about butterflies, plant species then Ben En should be a great place.
6/ Ham Rong Bridge
The most famous bridge in the war as it was bombed constantly, yet the train service across this bridge never stopped which insured good supplies to the battlefields.
