How to get there
Ta Xua is 200km northwest of Hanoi via Route 32 from Hanoi to Tan Son (Phu Tho Province) and Route 37 from Tan Son to Bac Yen. The road is in fairly good conditions in the dry season and it may be blocked due to landslide during the rainy season. The last leg of 14km from Bac Yen Township to Ta Xua Commune is steep with several blind curves and with possible landslides, rock-slides in the rainy season.
