Quang Ninh is in the Northeast of Vietnam, the provincial capital is Halong City, 170km from Hanoi. Quang Ninh is a rich province in Vietnam: having a border with China busy with trade, rich in mineral resources (coal,…), big industrial zones and sea ports (in Halong City), amazing tourist attractions…

Halong Bay is certainly the most famed tourist attraction in Vietnam and among the top must-sees of for all foreign visitors to the country.

The Tuan Chau Island used to be a deserted island until it was turned into an entertainment area with amphibian theater, hotels, resorts and beaches in the early 2000s. Back then, a road was built to link the island and the shore making it more accessible to the visitors.

Uong Bi Quang Ninh Province has a tropical monsoon climate: summer from May through July, autumn from late August through October, winter from November through February, spring from February through April. From June through October or sometimes November, Quang Ninh may be affected by tropical depressions or typhoons.

Van Don Airport in Halong Bay starts coming into operation from 30December 2018. This is the first privately owned airport in Vietnam. The airport is planned for Vietnam domestic flights and international flights which faciliate travel to Halong Bay, a world-famed tourist attraction in Vietnam.

The Yen Tu Mountain is a mountain range running mainly on the east-west axis, higher to the east and lower to the west. The mountain range starts in Bac Giang Province (Yen Dung, Luc Nam, Luc Ngan and Son Dong Districts), goes south to Uong Bi City (Quang Ninh Province) and travel east and ends at the Con Son Mountain in Hai Duong Province.
