7-May-2019 A day with clouds mostly, partial sun and patchy rains in several regions of Vietnam. The temperatures are pleasant mostly throughout the country except for South of the Central Coast (Quang Nam and Binh Dinh), northwestern vicinity of Saigon (Binh Duong, Tay Ninh). Rains in most of northern Vietnam except for Hanoi where it is cloudy and pleasant temperatures.
1/The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): torrential rains all over, 20-27oC. Dong Van Pleau (Ha Giang) is cloudy and rainy, 15-18oC.
The Northwest of Vietnam: Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have clouds and rains 22-26oC mostly. Sapa is rainy, 14-19oC. Mu Cang Chai has thunderstorms, 18-25oC.
Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: clouds and sun, rains in Son La and Dien Bien Phu, 22-34oC. Moc Chau Plateau has thunderstorms, 20-24oC.
The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): rains all over, lovely temperatures, 24-28oC. Hanoi is dry, cloudy in day time, light shower in the evening, 23-27oC.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) rains in Thanh Hoa, clouds in the others, 25-31oC.
3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: rains in Quang Binh and Quang Tri, clouds in Hue, 26-35oC.
Da Nang, Hoi An: clouds and sun, 26-34oC;
Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): sun and clouds, hot, 26-38oC. Quang Ngai has evening rains.
Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): sun and clouds in Nha Trang, rains in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, 27-36oC.
4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) clouds in the morning, rains all over in the evening, 22-33oC. Da Lat has rains, 18-26oC.
5/The South of Vietnam:
- Vung Tau, Saigon, Mekong Delta have clouds, sun and patchy rains, 27-35oC. Ho Chi Minh City has torrential rains in the afternoon which make some streets in the city temporarily flooded.
- Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc: clouds and sun mostly, warm, 26-35oC; 27-36oC in Tay Ninh and Binh Duong. Evening rains in Binh Duong,
Con Dao Islands have thunderstorms, 28-30oC; Phu Quoc Island is sunny and cloudy, 28-32oC.
