The Central Coast (Hue to Ninh Thuan) and the Central Highlands of Vietnam have heavy rains. The South of Vietnam has cloudy and rainy day. Hanoi has half sunny and half cloudy a day with weak sunshine and cool temperatures, rains in late evening.
Typhoon Matmo (Typhoon No. 5 in Vietnam in 2019) has weakened after hitting Binh Dinh - Phu Yen, and is in Gia Lai in the early morning today. Heavy rains are found in all the Central Coast and Central Highlands of Vietnam today. Water levels of major rivers in Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen are rising quickly.
