Today is among the best days for holidays in Vietnam. The North is experiencing very cold weather but the sun has come out making it a great day in most of northern Vietnam. The Central Coast and Central Highlands have mostly clouds; there is isolated rain still. The South of Vietnam has a lovely day with sun and pleasant temperatures. It is very cold in the far northern mountains. Hanoi has brisk day with lovely sun, weak winds, cold temperatures.
1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): little sun, clouds, 9-20/12-18/19/11-17oC. Dong Van Plateau has little sun, clouds, 7-10oC.
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have clouds, 14-18/12-27/11-18oC. Sapa has clouds, 6-8oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds, rain, 9-13oC. Mai Chau has clouds, 13-17oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: little sun, clouds, 10-17/11-21/13-22oC. Moc Chau Plateau has sun, clouds, 8-13oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): sun, clouds, 14-17/15-21oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 14/15-20oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) clouds, 16-20/22/17oC.
3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
- Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: clouds and rain in Quang Binh; clouds in the others; 18-21/17-24/16-22oC.
- Da Nang, Hoi An: clouds, 19-24oC;
- Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): little sun, clouds mostly, isolated rain, 20-25/25/17-26/20-25oC.
- Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): clouds, 19-27/28/32oC.
4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) sun, clouds, 13-28/26/17-27oC. Da Lat has clouds, 9-23oC.
5/The South of Vietnam:
- Vung Tau, Saigon, Mekong Delta have sun, clouds, 23-32oC in Vung Tau, 21-31/22/23-32oC in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta.
