28-April-2019 It is Re-unification Celebration, public holidays in Vietnam today. The regions with high temperatures (>=36oC) in Vietnam now are the extreme Northwest (Son La, Dien Bien Phu, Lai Chau), North of the Central Coast (from Nghe An to Hue), the Mekong Delta and the vicinity to the northwest of Saigon. There are rains in several regions in Vietnam which make the temperatures much more pleasant during the holiday.
1/The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds and rains all over, 18-28oC. Dong Van Pleau (Ha Giang) is cloudy and rainy, 15-22oC.
The Northwest of Vietnam: Hoa Binh is rainy, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have clouds 22-34oC. Sapa is cloudy, 13-23oC. Mu Cang Chai is cloudy, 17-28oC.
Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: rainy in Son La, cloudy and hot in the others, 23-36oC. Moc Chau Plateau is cloudy, 18-28oC.
The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): rains in Halong Bay, Hai Phong and Hanoi, clouds in the others , 23-34oC.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) clouds and sun, 24-36oC.
3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: sunny & hot, 26-39oC.
Da Nang, Hoi An: sunny, 26-33oC;
Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): clouds and sun, 22-33oC.
Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): cloudy mostly, 26-33oC.
4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) clouds and rains mostly, 22-34oC. Da Lat is cloudy and rainy, 17-27oC.
5/The South of Vietnam (Vung Tau, Saigon, Mekong Delta) is mostly cloudy and rainy, 27-34oC in Saigon and on the coast near Saigon, 27-36 in the south of the Mekong Delta.
Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc: clouds and rains mostly, 26-36oC.
Con Dao Islands are cloudy and sunny, 28-29oC; Phu Quoc Island is rainy, 28-31oC.
