The new spell of cool Northeasterly Wind has influenced the North and is to influence the North of the Central Coast. Heavy rain from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri. The temperatures turned low in the far northern mountains.
Serious landslides in Phuoc Son and Nam Tra My have killed dozens of lives.

1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds, isolated rain, 17/19-21/19-23/23oC. Dong Van Plateau has rain, 13-16oC.
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have rain, 20-23/24/23oC. Sapa has rain, 13-15oC. Mu Cang Chai has rain, 16-20oC. Mai Chau has rain, 20-22oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien (Dien Bien Phu), Lai Chau: clouds, rain, 17-21/19-26/20-27oC. Moc Chau Plateau has rain, 15-17oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds, isolated rain, 21-25/24oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 20-24oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) clouds, rain, 21-23/22-26/28oC.
3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
- Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: sun, clouds, isolated rain, 26-29/25-31/24-32oC.
- Da Nang, Hoi An: clouds, rain, 24-31oC;
- Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): clouds, some rain, 24-31/30/25/24-30oC.
- Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): clouds, isolated rain, 24-30/31/30oC.
4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) clouds, rain, 20-28/19-26/21-30oC. Da Lat has some sun, clouds, rain, 16-24oC.
5/The South of Vietnam:
- Vung Tau, Saigon, Mekong Delta have clouds, isolated rain, 25-29oC in Vung Tau, 25-31/24-30/29oC in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta.
- Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh: clouds, isolated t-storms, 24-30/30/29oC.
- Con Dao Islands have clouds, rain, winds, 25-27oC.
- Phu Quoc Island has clouds, rain, 25-28oC.
