The whole of Vietnam has rains today, the far-northern mountains and the mountainous region to the north of the Central Region have torrential rains with threats of floods and landslides, the Central Coast from Ha Tinh to Phu Yen may have brief warm moments (above 34-35oC) at mid day while most of the country has pleasant temperatures.
1/The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds and torrential rains, 22-28mostly, 23-30oC in Ha Giang. Dong Van Pleau (Ha Giang) has rains all over, 17-20oC. Ha Giang & Tuyen Quang have heavy rains posing dangers of landslides. A fatal lanslide has been reported at Bac Quang (Ha Giang), and accidents and damage to households and roads due to heavy rains have been reported in Xin Man, Hoang Su Phi, Quang Binh, Bac Quang, and Meo Vac (all in Ha Giang).
The Northwest of Vietnam: Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have rains mostly, 24-29oC mostly, 24-33oC in Lao Cai. Sapa has rains, 17-21oC. Mu Cang Chai has rains, 20-23oC. Yen Bai, Lao Cai and Phu Tho have heavy rains.
Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: clouds and scatterd thunderstorms, torrential rains in Dien Bien and Lai Chau, 21-29oC mostly, 22-33oC in Dien Bien Phu. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds and thunderstorms, 21-25oC.
The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds and rains all over, 24-29oC mostly. Hanoi has a day with clouds and rains.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) clouds and rains, 28-34oC.
3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: clouds and scattered thunderstorms, 28-35oC.
Da Nang, Hoi An: clouds mostly, 28-35oC;
Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): clouds mostly, afternoon scattered thunderstorms, hot, 28-36oC.
Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): clouds mostly, scattered showers and thunderstorms, 28-34oC.
4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) clouds and rains, pleasant temperatures, 21-32oC. Da Lat has clouds mostly and rains, 17-24oC.
5/The South of Vietnam: clouds and rains.
- Vung Tau, Saigon, Mekong Delta have clouds mostly, scattered thunderstorms all over, 26-33oC.
