Today is among the best days to travel in the Central Coast, the Central Highlands, and the South of Vietnam, be it family holidays, luxury tours or adventure vacations. These regions enjoy pleasant weather: sunshine, clouds, pleasant temperatures. The North of Vietnam has extreme weather on the very first day of the Vietnamese Tet (Lunar New Year) hails, torrential rains, thunders, lighnights. Hanoi has rains, violent winds, cool temperatures.
The new spell of the Northeasterly Monsoon is blowing through nothern Vietnam and is to have effects in the Central Coast. Torrential rains with thunders and lighnings are found in the North. There are hails in the Red River Delta. The wind is strong and it is cold. In the Mekong Delta, it is extremely foggy and this is very unusual!
1/North Vietnam

- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have clouds, rains, 12-20/19/11-24oC. Sapa has clouds, rains, 5-13oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds, rains, 6-17oC. Mai Chau has clouds, rains, 12-20oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: sun, clouds, rains in Son La, 10-23/28/11-25oC. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds, rains, 8-16oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds, rains, 12/18-20oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 12-19/13-22oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) rains, 14-23/15/16-26oC.

- Da Nang, Hoi An: sun, clouds, 21-29oC;
