Today is among the best days to travel in the Central Coast, the Central Highlands, and the South of Vietnam, be it family holidays, luxury tours or adventure vacations. These regions enjoy pleasant weather: sunshine, clouds, pleasant temperatures. The North of Vietnam enjoy rainy and cloudy day as a new spell of cold wind is to blow through later today. Hanoi has clouds, rains, cool temperatures.
A new spell of the Northeasterly Monsoon is approaching Vietnam's northern border and is to start having effects in the far north later today. The temperatures are to get lower and rains are found in the affected regions.
Hails are found in Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Hanoi. Torrential rains, thunders and lightnings are found in many areas in the North of Vietnam. This is very unsual as this weather pattern should be found in the summer only.

+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: sun, clouds, 14-26/10-28/13-29oC. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds, rains, 14-19oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds, rains, 18/20-22oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 20-24/21-25oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
