The heat strike is to end this late afternoon in most of the Red River Delta and rains are expected in this region in the evening.

1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): Clouds, thunderstorms, 24-34oC. Dong Van Plateau has clouds, rains, 20-24oC. Torrential rains in Ha Giang (Dong Van District) and Cao Bang (Quang Uyen, Ha Lang, Hoa An).
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh (Mai Chau), Yen Bai and Lao Cai have clouds, scattered thunderstorms, 27-36oC mostly, 28-38oC in Hoa Binh. Sapa has clouds, rains, 18-27oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds mostly, 22-29oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: clouds mostly, scattered thunderstorms in Lai Chau, 24-34oC mostly, 23-35oC in Lai Chau. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds mostly, 24-29oC. Torrential rains in Lai Chau.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds all over, hot, 29-33oC in Halong, 29-38oC in the others. Hanoi has hazy sun and humid.
