The tropical depression which entered the area of the East Sea of Vietnam on 1-September-2019 is making its way closer to the shore in the Central Region of Vietnam. Another tropical depression has formed in the area southeast of the Paracel Islands which is expected to move nne. Rains are expected in most of Vietnam today. It is strong wind and rough sea mostly from the Central Coast into the Rach Gia Gulf. Hanoi has a cloudy day with strong winds, very pleasant temperatures.

1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds, rains, 23-32oC mostly, 23-29oC in Lang Son. Dong Van Plateau has some clouds and rains, 17-21oC.
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have mostly clouds and rains, 25-30oC in Hoa Binh, 25-32oC in the others. Sapa has sun, clouds and rains, 17-19oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds, rains, 18-21oC. Mai Chau has clouds and rains, 24-27oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: some sun, clouds and rains, 21-28oC mostly. Moc Chau Plateau has rains, 17-22oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds and rains, 24-30oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 26-32oC in the south of Red River Delta and in Hanoi.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) rains, clouds, 25-30oC in Thanh Hoa, 24-29oC in the others.

4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) clouds, scattered rains, pleasant temperatures, 22-26oC mostly, 20-24oC in Pleiku. Da Lat has clouds, rains, 17-21oC.
