Central Highlands and the South of Vietnam have a wonderful day with some sun, mostly clouds and lovely temperatures; today is among the best days to travel in these regions; a great day for family holidays. The North has hazy sunshine and clouds, some rains as a new of cold monsoon is sweeping in. The Central Coast has only some isolated rains today, mostly clouds and sun which is great given that it is in the rainy season here now. Hanoi has a cloudy day, some light rains as mid day but mostly dry, pleasant temperatures.
A new spell of Monsoon is having its influence in the far northern mountains and the Northeast of Vietnam. The cold monsoon is to have its influence in all the North of Vietnam, the North of the Central Coast of Vietnam later today. Light rains are expected and the temperatures are getting lower.
1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds and rains, 11-17/12-20/19/15-22oC. Dong Van Plateau has clouds, isolated rains, 10-14oC.
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have clouds, rains, 16-22/15-23/25oC. Sapa has little sun, clouds, rains, 10-18oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds, rains, 12-22oC. Mai Chau has clouds, rains, 16-23oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: sun, isolated showers in Son La, 15-25/16-27/17-29oC. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds, rains, 13-18oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): little sun, mostly clouds, isolated rains in the south of the Red River Delta, 16-21/17-22oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 15/17-23oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
