The tropical depression (No. 5) rages in the sea area and near the coast of Quang Tri - Hue, makes landfall at Hue and brushes through Quang Tri.
The first spell of cold wind is having its influence all over the North of Vietnam causing rain and pleasant temperatures.
Torrential rain is expected in the region from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai. The rest of the country is to have heavy rain.
1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): little sun, clouds, isolated t-storms, 21-25/22-27/28/30oC. Dong Van Plateau has sun, clouds, 17-21oC.
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have sun, clouds, t-storms, 23-27/29/22-28oC. Sapa has clouds, isolated t-storms, 16-21oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds, rain, 21-27oC. Mai Chau has sun, clouds, t-storms, 16-20oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien (Dien Bien Phu), Lai Chau: sun, clouds, isolated t-storms, 20-27/31/23-32oC. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds, rain, 17-20oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): sun, clouds, isolated rain, 24-31/23-30oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 23-31/24-30oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.

- Da Nang, Hoi An: rain, 26-29oC;
- Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): rain, 25-31/26-32/29/25-31oC.
- Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): rain, 26-33/32/25-29oC.
4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) rain, 21-24/20-22/23-26oC. Da Lat has rain, 18-20oC.
5/The South of Vietnam:
- Vung Tau, Saigon, Mekong Delta have clouds, rain, 27-29oC in Vung Tau, 24-30/25-29/27oC in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta.
