The North has mostly a cloudy day with isolated rains, cool temperatures as a new spell of cold wind is to sweep through. The extreme Northwest of Vietnam has sun and cool temperatures. The Central Coast has mostly sun; clouds and rains in the North of the Central Coast. the Central Highlands and the South of Vietnam have sun and clouds: today is among the best time to have holidays in these regions. Hanoi has some sun, clouds and strong winds, and cool temperatures.
The newly arrived spell of the Northeasterly Monsoon has influenced most of northern Vietnam and is having its influence in the extreme Northwest and the Central Coast of Vietnam later today. There are strong winds and rains in the North mostly and the temperatures are much lower today.
1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds, rains, 10-12/14/11-15/14-17C. Dong Van Geopark has clouds, rains, 9-11oC.
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have clouds, isolated rains, 15-18/17/13-20oC. Sapa has sun, clouds, isolated rains, 8-17oC. Mu Cang Chai has sun, clouds, 11-22oC. Mai Chau has clouds, rains, 15-17oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: sun, clouds, 13-26/11-28/15-29oC. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds, 12-15oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds, 14-17/16-19oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 14-16/16-20oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) clouds, rains, 17-20/19-23/25oC.
3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
- Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: sun, clouds, 20-26/18-28/28oC.
- Da Nang, Hoi An: sun, clouds, isolated rains, 20-28C;
- Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): sun, clouds, isolated rains, 20-27/27/19-29/22-26oC.
- Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): sun, clouds, 21-28/20-31/22-31oC.
