The North is having the first spell of Northeasterly Monsoon today with some rains in the far northern mountains. It is wonderful weather in most of northern Vietnam, the North of the Central Coast and the Central Highlands. More rain is found in the Central Coast and the South of Vietnam. Hanoi has a lovely morning with bright sunshine, rain at mid day, clouds in the afternoon, mild breezes, very pleasant temperatures.
Morning heavy rains in Lai Chau (Muong Te, Phong Tho) and Lao Cai (Bat Xat, Sapa).
Afternoon heavy rains in Lam Dong (Bao Lam, Bao Loc), Dak Nong (Dak Glong, Dak Rlap, Gia Nghia), Binh Phuoc (Bu Dang, Dong Phu, Dong Xoai), Dong Nai (Tan Phu, Dinh Quan). Due to heavy rains, Bao Loc City is flooded.
1/North Vietnam

- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have some sun, clouds, rains, 22-30/30/21-28oC respectively. Sapa has clouds, rains, 15-18oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds, rains, 17-22oC. Mai Chau has sun, clouds, rains, 20-29oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: sun, clouds, isolated rains, 18-27/19-29/21-30oC. Moc Chau Plateau has little sun, clouds, t-storms, 16-21oC.
