The North and North of the Central Region of Vietnam are about to have the first official spell of Northeasterly Monsoon in 2019. It is lovely weather in most of the North today, some heavy rains in the far-northern mountains. The whole of Vietnam enjoys lovely temperatures. There is some rain in the Central Region but it is not like in the rainy season yet. There is less rain in the Central Highlands and South of Vietnam. Hanoi has a cloudy and sunny day, very pleasant temperatures.

1/North Vietnam

- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have some sun, clouds, rains, 24-31/24-30/22-28oC respectively. Sapa has sun, clouds, rains, 16-20oC. Mu Cang Chai has thunderstorms, 19-24oC. Mai Chau has sun mostly, clouds, rains, 23-30oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: sun mostly, clouds, isolated t-storms, 20-28/28/22-30oC. Moc Chau Plateau has little sun, clouds, 18-22oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): sun, clouds, scattered rains, 23-30oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 24-32oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
