Clouds and rain in most of the Central Coast, the Central Highlands and South of Vietnam. The North mostly enjoys nice sunny a day with pleasant temperatures. Hanoi has a day with mild sun, clouds, nice temperatures.
A new low-pressure air trough has strengthened to be a tropical depression heading to the seacoast from Da Nang to Binh Dinh.

The part of Route 1A through Huong Tra (Thua Thien Hue) is flooded flocking all traffic. The train service between North and South of Vietnam has stopped service through Thua Thien Hue as some parts of the rail tracks are 40-50cm under water.

- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): sun, clouds, 20-28oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 20-29oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
