10-April-2019 The heat spell continues in the Northwest of Vietnam, the western side of the Central Region of Vietnam and South Vietnam. Highest temperatures recorded are 38.2oC at Yen Chau (Son La), 40.7oC at Tuong Duong Nghe An, 38.3oC at Quy Hop (Nghe An).

1/The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): sunny, 19-32oC. Dong Van Pleau (Ha Giang) is sunny, 24-35oC.

The Northwest of Vietnam: Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Phu Tho are sunny, 23-33oC; Lao Cai is hot, 24-36oC. Sapa is sunny, 13-24oC. Mu Cang Chai is sunny, 23-31oC.

Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau are with bright sunshine, 22-36oC. Son La and Dien Bien suffers from high temperatures at mid day due to the Foehn effect. Moc Chau is sunny, 20-27oC.

The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh) are sunny, 24-34oC. Hanoi has light fog in the morning.

2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) are mostly sunny, 24-35oC.

3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)

Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: sunny, 26-38oC; the whole region is experiencing a very hot day.

Da Nang, Hoi An: sunny, 24-34oC;

Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): sunny, 21-32oC.

Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): sunny, 24-33oC.

4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) sunny, 21-37oC; Da Lat is sunny, 17-28oC.

5/The South of Vietnam (Vung Tau, Saigon, Mekong Delta) are sunny, 26-37oC. Saigon and the Mekong Delta is in a spell of heat with temperatures reach 36-37oC. Vung Tau is still having pleasant temperatures, 28-31oC.
Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh have patchy rains, 26-38oC.

Con Dao Islands are cloudy, 27-28oC; Phu Quoc Island is sunny, 27-31oC.
