Typhoon No 10 (Goni) has weakened to by a tropical depression on the sea between Binh Dinh - Phu Yen and will have melted away in the next 12 hours.
But a new typhoon has formed 180km southeast of Taiwan packing sustained winds of 90-100kph. The projected path in the next 24 hours is wnw covering 15kph.
1/North Vietnam

+ Son La, Dien Bien (Dien Bien Phu), Lai Chau: sun, clouds, 16-24/26/19-29oC. Moc Chau Plateau has sun, clouds, 14-19oC.
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): sun, clouds, 21-27/28oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 22/21-29oC in Hanoi and the Red River Delta.
