The Kinh Duong Vuong Temple is in A Lu Village, Dai Dong Thanh Commune, Thuan Thanh District, Bac Ninh Province. The temple is on the southern bank of the Duong River.
History
From the ancient times, the A Lu Village had two temples: one dedicated to Kinh Duong Vuong (Upper Temple – Den Thuong) and the other dedicated to Lac Long Quan and Au Co (Lower Temple – Den Ha). In 1949-1952 the French came back to Vietnam and destroyed most temples and pagodas in the village and in the region. The villagers had kept some artefacts of the two temples before the French came.
In 1971 Kinh Duong Vuong Temple was rebuilt and the old artefacts were restored.
