According to Vietnam Railways Corporation, the company is running the trains SE7 and SE8 again from 20-May-2011 to meet the surging demand of Vietnamese travellers for holiday travel and of Vietnamese students for the entrance exams. Train SE8 departs from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) at 06:25 A.M and arrives at Hanoi at 15:28 the next day; Train SE7 departs Hanoi at 06:15 A.M and arrives at Ho Chi Minh City at 15:05 the next day.

The company also discloses to issue e-tickets for train travellers from 15-April-2011. The passengers can book seats/sleepers on the company's website, pay online and print the e-tickets themselves. Those who book online via the company's website enjoy a 5% discount of the tariff.
