Vietnam Airlines to Increase Flights into South East Asia

According to Vietnam Airlines, the national flag carrier of Vietnam is to increase direct flights from Hanoi to different South East Asian Countries. From 16-June-2011, the air firm is to open daily directly flights between Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia, so that there are 21 direct flights per week from Vietnam to Malaysia (1 daily from Hanoi and 2 daily flights from Ho Chi Minh City).

Also, the airline is to increase the number of flights from Hanoi to Singapore to 11 flights per week, instead of 7 flights per week now. From 16-July-2011, Vietnam Airlines is to operate 14 flights per week from Hanoi to Bangkok (Thailand), instead of 7 flights per week now. The air firm is also to increase and open new domestic flights in Vietnam, especially between major inland cities to the offshore islands of the country.
