New Private Helicopter Service to Begin in Vietnam in Oct-2011

On 29Aug2011, Azur Helicopter (a France-based helicopter service company) has introduced Eurocopter AS350 B2 in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to target Vietnamese individual and corporate travellers.

Azur Helicopter will co-operate with VASCO (a Vietnam-based air service company) in offering private helicopter service in Vietnam starting from the end of Oct-2011. All flights will be with Eurocopter AS350 B2 departing from Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat Airport to major destinations in southern Vietnam including Phan Thiet - Mui Ne, Vung Tau...

Europcopter AS350 B2 can carry 2 pilots along with 4 passengers. The flight time between Saigon and Phan Thiet is 1 hour, between Saigon and Vung Tau is 35 minutes. The plan is to bring the convenience to the individual or corporate travellers for leisure, for taking photos of the country from the air, and for business purposes.

For the leisure travellers in northern Vietnam, you can travel between Hanoi Gia Lam Airport and Halong Bay by helicopter. The flight time is 45 minutes and the service includes a spectacular view of Halong Bay from the air.
