Phu Yen Vietnam

The Hon Nua Island is an isolated and deserted offshore island close to the Deo Ca Pass between Phu Yen Province and Khanh Hoa Province. There are no inhabitants on the island, no construction works except for the lighthouse on the island either.

Phu Yen Province is located to south of the Central Coast of Vietnam. Phu Yen had been overshadowed by Nha Trang to the south and Da Nang to the north for a while. Now, travelers are starting to make trips to Phu Yen for the quiet beaches with fine white sand.

Phu Yen has a tropical monsoon climate with two seasons per year: dry season from late February through July, rainy season from late August through January. From December through January, Phu Yen experiences cool temperatures (18-22oC) and from May to August Phu Yen has hot temperatures (28-40oC).

Phu Yen is a coastal province in the Central Region of Vietnam. The capital city is Tuy Hoa City, 130km north of Nha Trang and 110km south of Quy Nhon.

Vietnam is getting to be too hot a travel destination after a couple of decades the country is open to the outside world. There is no doubt tourism has helped the local economy tremendously and millions of people have benefited from participating in tourism business in Vietnam. The question is for how long it is going to be that way?
